History
Welcome to the Bank of McCreary County!
In 1906, Bank of McCreary County was chartered with the express intent of providing the community with a bank to call its own. For generations, Bank of McCreary County has been proud to set the standard in responsive, personal banking service as the oldest business in McCreary County.
While the names and faces of our bankers and our customers have changed through these many years, and the industry itself continues to move toward technology-based conveniences, Bank of McCreary County has held firm to the underlying principle of exceptional personal service. Indeed, we were the first bank in Kentucky to offer Check Image statements, and we gave customers convenient account access by way of telephone banking, ATM locations, e-Statements, Online Bill Pay, and Online Banking at www.bomconline.com.
Today, we serve friends and neighbors from three convenient locations as we continue on our mission of meeting the challenges and changes of the future. For over a century, we have been up to the task of providing the best in banking; and we will continue to listen...and respond with all the right answers.
Our Board of Directors, who are dedicated to the preservation of true community banking, include:
